My Journey
I sort of fell into travel. I was a seasonal employee helping with travel and orientation logistics and I realized that I enjoyed managing all the moving pieces and solving problems as they came up. I have come to believe travel, done well, is one of the most powerful tools we have for personal growth, cultural connection, and a deeper relationship with the world. I love supporting travelers in this. While I have mostly worked with high school and university students, I believe that we can learn, grow, and transform through travel at any age, and I want to design and manage programs that facilitate this for people.
How I Work
I excel at adapting to the situation in front of me. Years of travel and orientation logistics means I work well in a crisis and can project calm and empathy to my travelers. I aim for clear and kind communication and think it’s important to be unafraid to ask questions, but also willing to answer them to the best of my ability. I’m happy to lend a helping hand to other teams and projects. I also have a lot of experience building good working relationships with people across sectors, countries, and languages. I have experience juggling multiple projects and trips with competing deadlines and priorities.
